We love what we do and want to show you how we do it. Tours are offered on Saturday by appointment. We start out tour in our Bavarian themed taproom. Please belly up to our hammered copper bar and order one of our signature brews. As soon as everyone has a drink, we’ll proceed to the brewhouse and see where we take four simple ingredients and turn them into the beers you love. We’ll describe the process of making beer, show you the equipment used and answer any questions you may have.
But wait, the tour isn’t over! We then head back through the taproom and down to packaging. Here we’ll show you how our delicious liquid gets its bubbles and gets packaged for you to enjoy.
Donna Brooks brings songs from the landscape of her life to her repertoire. Varied in genre, they all have a story to tell. Raised in a family of singers and storytellers, humor, story, and beautiful melody shine through the music she brings to her audience straight from the heart. Ironwood is a duet featuring Donna Brooks on guitar and vocals along with Sage Etters on cello and vocals. Glorious women making music!
Two of the top bluegrass musicians in the Chicago area, Rob Anderlik and Mike Church first met at late night jam session and felt a deep musical connection from the moment they played together. Even better, they discovered they shared a wide range of musical interests, ranging from Southern Rock, Blues, Swing, Jazz Standards, Cinematic Instrumentals, Folk Music and of course, Bluegrass. With a wide range of musical interests and the chops to back it up, the energy they create in their live performances is musical artistry at it’s best. Whether it’s a fiery fiddle tune, a low-down blues or one of their own compositions, they cross musical genres with the authority and conviction that comes from mastering their instruments – guitar and dobro.
In celebration of our first full year producing extraordinary craft beer, Buffalo Creek Brewing in Historic Downtown Long Grove is hosting a special Brew Year’s Eve party, December 31st. Lake County’s only destination brewery, popular year-round for its Bavarian-themed taproom and scenic entertainment space centered around the art of brewing, invites beer aficionados to ring in 2019 with brewmaster Mike Marr and friends. Beginning at 7:30 pm, the festive night will include unlimited fresh brews, a hometown Chicago BBQ menu cooked onsite by Steamboat BBQ, and live music featuring the DAMJAX band. Early bird tickets are now on sale through EventBrite, by stopping into the taproom, or by calling the brewery at (847) 821-6140.
For $100, early bird ticket buyers will receive unlimited pours of all Buffalo Creek Brewing beers, an authentic, Chef-crafted BBQ dinner served family style in the brewery’s 2nd story event room, and live music entertainment to welcome in the New Year. The dinner menu, which is being created and prepared fresh onsite by suburban smoked meat kings, Steamboat BBQ, will include an appetizer of fire roasted bruschetta and garden salad before the chef rolls out mouth-watering entrée items like: smoked porchetta, tri-tips, potatoes au gratin, collard greens and bread pudding with hot caramel and pecans. Following dinner, the party will roll downstairs into the taproom, where Mike and his staff will keep the hand-crafted beer flowing strong into the New Year while the dynamic DAMJAX duo of singer/songwriter David Anthony Marshall and fretless phenom Jack Mazzenga bring down the (brew)house!
Early bird tickets for the Brew Year’s Eve at Buffalo Creek Brewing can be purchased until December 15th through EventBrite, by stopping into the taproom, or by calling the brewery at (847) 821-6140. Afterwards, tickets prices will increase to $110 per person.
